Kinnakeet Shores Pool and Tennis less than 2 miles south is supplied with the rental. (Mid May through end of September) Can be used before and after check-in.

There is also a pull-out twin couch in the den and a queen inflatable bed.

HEPA covers on all pillows and beds.

Covered parking underneath unit available on a first-come basis. Otherwise, outdoor parking.

You can walk across HWY 12 to the beach. It is only 3 blocks away. You can walk to eateries, bar, and ice cream shop. Avon has a Food Lion, Dollar Tree, Wings, and Ace Hardware just 2 miles away. And plenty of other beach stores and eateries are also available.

High-Speed WIFI and Cable/Roku TVs in family room and bedroom.

Trip Insurance is highly recommended for Hatteras Island.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
• Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
• At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• Did your family have a terrific time? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
