OCEANVIEW Waves - Sea Isle Hills Dr. - There is no confusion here, WAVES DAZE is the beach home for your family vacation. Pull the car into the shaded parking with dry entry and step into the cavernous game room with pool table, wet bar with refrigerator, queen couch bed, TV/DVD and convenient half bath. A slider leads you to the deck where you'll find the bubbly hot tub overlooking the private swimming pool. The mid-level of the home features three calming master bedrooms each with private baths and TV/DVDs; two with king beds and one with a pyramid bunk. Also on this level is the convenient laundry area. Your expectations will be exceeded at the sight of the upper level great room with plenty of seating around the enormous flat screen TV/DVD, three sliders leading to decks on both sides, cheerful and well-appointed kitchen, dining area and the second half bath. There is also a king master bedroom with private bath and flat screen TV/DVD. With private bathrooms for every bedroom, comfortable beach decor and beach access in walking distance, there is no better place to spend your WAVES DAZE and nights.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: Knowing there is coverage for accidents will help you relax and savor your vacation. In lieu of a $3,000 cash security deposit, we provide a Vacation Rental Protection Plan. This non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $5,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • Summer is high season in Waves. To get the best value, change your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it.
