Make a break for the beach and discover your happy place at this adorable bungalow found just steps from the sand and the surf! This coastal hideaway offers a prime location close to the beach and the easiest beach access ever. This beach is definitely elegant, not busy, and meticulously maintained by property owners.

The interior of this impressive vacation rental is sure to put a smile on your face as you discover its many features including a well-equipped, full kitchen and a comfortable living area with a bumped ceiling, couch, and TV. Outside, relax on the balcony or head up to the rooftop deck with ocean and sound vistas. The vistas of the Hatteras sky, sunsets, and ocean from our rooftop deck are not to be missed. Additionally, the cabana is a clean, comfortable, calming, and the ideal escape! We have all the amenities needed for a simply ideal vacation at the beach. If you're planning a fun-filled vacation at the beach for just the two of you, this single-level studio is a terrific, ideally-located option!

THINGS TO KNOW
Please note that while the complex is oceanfront; the bungalow itself is a few cabanas back from the beach access. There are ocean vistas from the rooftop deck.
No open fires or open flame grilles are allowed on decks or under the property. Only grilling is allowed in shared property grilles located in the center of the property.

Located in Hatteras, this apartment is in a rural area and near the beach. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Frisco Beach. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. Reserve your Hatteras rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Hatteras visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
