Pull into this carport of this coastal home and be welcomed by the salty air. A short walk to the ocean makes beach days painless and with indoor and outdoor storage, you can store all your beach gear. The pool deck on this home has plenty of space to spread out and appreciate the relaxation of island time. Laze around in the opulent enormous pool or slip into the bubbly hot tub, private with a lattice fence on one side. Play a game of pool with the family in the game room and listen to music on the stereo or watch a movie on the TV with DVD player. The room has ample space to gather everybody to watch a pool tournament or to talk about old stories. Keep drinks cold and prepare snacks at the wet bar with a sink, full-sized refrigerator, and microwave. One cavernous queen bedroom is on this level with island vistas and a TV.

The next level has three bedrooms and the washer and dryer. Take the king master bedroom on this level and snatch a private deck with island vistas, a Intelligent TV, and an attached private bath for yourself. Let the other people in your event settle between the other two beach-themed rooms that share a hall bath. When to book a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • Summer is high season in the Hatteras area. To find the largest rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review.
