OCEANFRONT – Avon – You’ll be CAROLINA DREAMIN’ after staying in this 4,640 sq. ft. home with 360-degree vistas of the Atlantic to the east, the Pamlico Sound to the west, the National Seashore to the north, and then back to the Atlantic with its majestic dunes to the south. Unwind in the private pool or catch some sun calming on the pool furnishings. Store your beach gear downstairs in the gear room and pack your cooler for the beach. There is room for the whole family on the huge pool deck. Gather the family in the game room for a game of pool or challenge them to a card game on the card table. Settle into the enormous couch and read a book supplied in the home or take a seat at one of the chairs around the room and watch the games. Make a fast snack at the wet bar with a full-size refrigerator and microwave. One master king bedroom with a private bath is on this level. The bathroom is handicap friendly with a roll in shower and accessible by the elevator that goes from the carport to the top level.

The second level has four master bedrooms. Two queen master bedrooms with private baths and ocean vistas, one king master with ocean and sound vistas, and the final master with two single beds with ocean vistas. The top two floors each have a sound view porch with rocking chairs for your comfort. No matter what room you choose, handsome island vistas will be right out your window.

The final third level of the home has sizable, vaulted ceilings and windows bathing the area in natural light. The final bedroom, a king master bedroom with a private bath and tiled walk-in shower completes the bedrooms. This huge master will be the most desired on your vacation. The family will all fit on the large couch in the great room and settle in to discuss tomorrow’s plans. Meals are a breeze in the open kitchen with ample counter space and double ovens. When the day is coming to a close, savor the ocean breeze on the deck and listen to the ocean waves. You’ll be CAROLINA DREAMIN’ on this vacation.

Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
