OCEANFRONT Waves - Wimble Shores North Your troubles will seem worlds away when you're living on CLOUD 9. This centrally located oceanfront home has a lot to offer besides the front row ocean vistas. Pull up in the driveway and you'll discover the shining private pool, indulgent hot tub, and simple beach access. Head up to the second level and you'll find the convenient laundry area and four comfortable bedrooms, all with TVs. There are two queen bedrooms that share a full bath, and a double bedroom and pyramid w/trundle bedroom that access a hall bath. Move up to the top floor and you'll find the sunny great room and kitchen with additional seating at the bar, the dining area, a half bath, and a cozy living area with 55" HDTV satellite system with sound bar. Naturally, the vistas from CLOUD 9 are out of this world, particularly on the top level's broad sun deck. Savor your morning coffee in this cavernous area with unobstructed vistas of the most dazzling sunrises the east coast has to offer. Spend a little time on CLOUD 9 and fulfill your vacation dreams.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good ratings to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
