When to go & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Hatteras vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early.
