The top floor has a bright and open kitchen, dining, and living room that is cavernous and inviting. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a glass-top stove, and breakfast bar seating. You'll appreciate serving meals in the adjacent dining area, and adjourning to the deck for a delightful after-dinner sunset will be a delight. The living room is a fun space with comfortable furnishings and deck access. The primary bedroom with a private bath can also be found on this level. The first floor features a master bedroom with a king bed and private bath, two additional comfortable and beautiful bedrooms, a conveniently located hall bathroom, and a washer/dryer.
Appreciate a fun-filled day on the beach or at the Club Hatteras shared pool and tennis courts. After a long day, kick back with your favorite show on any of the TVs. There is a 65-inch TV in the living room, with TVs in each of the bedrooms all offering Roku streaming. Blu-ray players are located in the living room, first floor middle bedroom, and bunk room, which was modernized in 2022. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway to take in the vistas and reflect on the day's activities, take a trip up the spiral staircase, where you will find a reading loft with great ocean vistas.

Avon rental home booking tips:
When to go & When to reserve a Hatteras rental home:
- Summer time is high season in Avon. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
- The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area travel guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
How to pick the best vacation home in the Hatteras area:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Multi-level home right up from beach with private hot tub & shared pool has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available online. If not, email the host before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your trip.
- Is your family looking for unique amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
- Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.
Additional considerations:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
- To make certain that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
