The ground level of the home offers concrete parking, charcoal grille, beach gear storage and an outdoor shower. Inside, find three cozy bedrooms on the first level including a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen bedroom with private access into the shared full bath. Upstairs find one more queen bedroom with slider to the deck and private access into the second shared full bath. Gather the family in the great room and savor a show on the flat screen TV or marvel at the blue water vistas through the many windows. The airy kitchen offers space for cooking and prepping with center island and close by dining table seats the group. Climb the ladder to the ships watch to spend peaceful time with a good book or step out the slider onto the deck to have a snack on the picnic table while listening to the sounds of the waves. Getting the best rental value:
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in Salvo. To book the largest rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses.
