This second-floor condo at Durant Station features a gorgeous, oceanfront primary bedroom, a 28-foot sundeck overlooking the beach, and both ocean and sound vistas that you'll remember for years to come. You'll also be treated to an broad electronics package, including four TVs, a VCR, a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, satellite HDTV with DVR, and complimentary high-speed WiFi for your laptop.

The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean vistas, private oceanfront decks, and sound-side decks for viewing colorful sunsets. Elevator service to all levels makes this property a convenient choice for all ages: there's no need to haul bags or groceries up long flights of stairs.

You'll be just a few steps from the ocean via a private wooden walkway. Durant Station also offers a host of amenities, including one of Hatteras Island's biggest pools with an adjacent hot tub. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. The Community Center is ideal for calming with friends, conducting meetings, attending wedding events and receptions, or simply appreciating the lounge areas which offer a 50-inch plasma TV, a pool table, a gas fireplace, and a complete kitchen on the upper level.

Other amenities include central air conditioning and solid-surface kitchen countertops in the condo, as well as a fish-cleaning station, grilles, and outdoor shower facilities on the grounds. Here in Hatteras Village, you'll appreciate being beachfront and near local eateries and stores.

About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this condo is on the beach. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Ocracoke Pony Pens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
