If your family bonds over spirited competition, the ground-level basketball net and volleyball courts are ready for action, while the private thirty-six-foot salt water, solar-heated pool, furnished sun deck, and outdoor shower beckon you to cool off and relax. Need a break from the sun? Inside, find a game room with arcade games and a flat screen TV, a huge bath, and a well-equipped kitchenette that offers a ideal place to stock poolside snacks and drinks.

On the first level, two king master bedrooms, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room are havens for relaxing rest between Cape Hatteras Island adventures. All have painless access to a covered deck and hot tub with the sound of the ocean’s waves softly tumbling onto the beach located just across the street. Ascend to the third level and discover that memories-in-the-making are impossible to avoid as your family and friends savor game nighttime in the airy great room, prepare meals in the colorful kitchen, and share them around a twelve-seat dining table. Top the evening off with a toast to another ideal day on the screened-in porch with majestic vistas of the ocean blending into a star-filled sky. From there, take the elegant spiral staircase to the loft revealing the queen bedroom. Book now to plant yourself firmly in surroundings that will both sooth and surprise you at FEAT IN THE SAND.

*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

New for 2022: The owners have some impressive updates for the 2022 season including: new LVP floor on the first, second, and third (loft) levels, fresh paint throughout, new light fixtures and ceiling fans, and a new dryer. There are four new Intelligent TVs in the first level bedrooms and new linens in all five bedrooms. The kitchen now features a new oven and new cookware and the game room features new arcade games.
