Paradise Penthouse Unit #301 is a third-floor condo with a king main bedroom and two singles in the additional bedroom. It has an electric fireplace and accepts you to bring two dogs with you on vacation.

The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean vistas from every property. All condos have private oceanfront decks, as well as sound side decks for viewing colorful sunsets. Elevator service to all levels makes Durant Station a most convenient choice for all ages: no need to haul suitcases and groceries up long flights of stairs! Guests are just a few short steps to the ocean via a private wooden walkway. The Hatteras area offers some of the best fishing and sunbathing on the East Coast.

At Durant Station, you'll savor a host of amenities including one of Hatteras Island's biggest private pools with an adjacent hot tub available from April 1 - January 2. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. You'll find the Community Center ideal for calming with friends, conducting meetings, wedding events, and receptions, or simply appreciating the lounge areas, which offer a 50-inch huge-screen plasma TV, and a complete kitchen on the upper level. The Durant Station complex consists of three floors, which start about 12 feet above the ground. The parking lot and walks are paved with concrete.

All retreats are attractively furnished (there are new beds on each bed!) and completely equipped with linens to make your stay comfortable as well as memorable. All Durant Station condos have central A/C, cable TV with HBO, Satellite HDTV with DVR, wireless high-speed Internet for your laptop, solid surface counters in the kitchen, and sprinkler safety systems for your tranquility of mind.

Centrally located on the first floor is a coin-operated laundry facility (which even offers an ocean view). Some getaways have a stackable washer/dryer. A enormous separate fish cleaning station, BBQ grilles and outdoor shower facilities complete the picture. The Durant Station Condominiums are located in Hatteras Village, oceanfront on Highway 12. Savor being beachfront and near local eateries and stores.

This home has access to a community pool, the community pools in our area are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community pools are operated at the discretion of the community HOA so the availability schedule may be subject to change without notice.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting "Yes" to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Located in Hatteras, this condo is on the beach. When to visit & When to book:

  • Summer is high season in Hatteras. Reserve your Hatteras rental in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.   • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
