You'll feel really blessed when you surround yourself with family and friends for a beach vacation at Lucky Stars. This oceanfront getaway in Buxton is located right on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore with expansive vistas of the Atlantic and effortless access to the beach. With four levels of decking that provide both shade and sun, there's no shortage of outdoor space for appreciating the salty ocean breezes. Whether you're curled up on the couch or preparing for a family dinner, the open-concept layout on the main level accepts everybody to appreciate the phenomenal ocean view. Upgrades include soaring vaulted ceilings, transom windows, wood floor, and juniper accent walls for plenty of coastal character. The chef in your group will savor the kitchen's granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Three of the four bedrooms on the mid-level feature deck access, ideal for falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves and waking up to an oceanfront sunrise. The cavernous primary bedroom includes a king bed and ensuite bath for plenty of privacy. The fourth level loft space is furnished with a queen bed to serve as a fifth bedroom if needed. Bed and bath linens are always supplied at no additional charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival. Downstairs, the ground level is dedicated to indoor entertainment. Show off your billiard skills on the pool table or curl up in front of the generously sized TV with home theater system for a movie nighttime. There's even a mini refrigerator so you can grab a cold drink without having to go upstairs. Lucky Stars is just a five-min. drive to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and just fifteen mins. from world-class fishing at the legendary Cape Point. On the other side of the island guests can access the sound via the Haulover Day Use Area, also known as Canadian Hole because of its ideal conditions for windsurfing and kiteboarding. But you don't have to be a watersports pro to enjoy this little soundside beach. It's a great place for families to swim, paddleboard and launch kayaks. Nearby eateries include Cockeyed Clam, Rusty's Surf & Turf, and the Orange Blossom Bakery & Cafe - a locals' favorite. Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay. No family pets allowed. No smoking/vaping.
