SOUNDSIDE Avon – Kinnakeet Shores – In the heart of Kinnakeet Shores, SERENDIPITY will give you the serene vacation you’ve been craving. Unwind on the private dock to the lake and listen as the water laps at the shore. The morning pink glow coming over trees to the east and a gorgeous sunset reflecting off the water in the evenings. During the heat of the day, float around in the pool or show off your mixing skills at the Tiki bar. Ample pool deck and deck furnishings makes calming with the whole family painless, all while appreciating a cookout with the gas grille. And in the evenings, take over the hot tub in the corner and savor the handsome vistas. Head inside to the game room and challenge your family to a game of foosball, shuffleboard, or poker table. Snacks for any occasion are simple with the wet bar with a sink, microwave and refrigerator. Put on some jams with the stereo and TV to get the good times rolling. Two bedrooms are on this level. Two bunk rooms, each with two twin-over-twin bunk beds and another with two single beds. Travelling between floors is easy with elevator access to three levels of the home.

The second level of the home has four master bedrooms, each with a private attached bath and TV. Three king master bedrooms and one queen. Picking a room will be difficult when the lake vistas out the two back master bedrooms are beautiful, and they have deck access. Take your morning coffee outside for a peaceful moment before the day. The third level of the home has the final master bedroom, a king master bedroom with a roomy attached private bath. You can access the top-level deck from the home. Bring the family together in the great room. With plenty of seating and vistas of Hatteras Island, you might find yourself spending all day here. Have meals at the sizable dining table with room for ten. For a fast breakfast, use the breakfast bar with seating for five. The kitchen is ideal and ready to make vacation meals for your whole family. The deck off the great room is the best place to watch the island. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct.   • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
