Your GREAT EXPECTATIONS will be met at this impressive oceanfront home with a floorplan designed to provide privacy to the bedrooms and roomy comfort to your stay. Located on a peaceful street with painless access to a gorgeous Hatteras beach. The ground level of the home features 2 carports and dry entry into the home with immediate all-level elevator access to make unloading bags and groceries a breeze. The shining swimming pool is accompanied by a sizable deck area for calming and adjacent underhouse area with granite countertop for relaxing in the shade.
The first level of the home features the game room with 8 ft. pool table, huge flat screen TV, pub-style seating, convenient half bath and a wet bar with full size refrigerator, wine cooler, and microwave ideal for storing and preparing beach and pool snacks. Also on this level are two oceanfront master bedrooms with king beds and sliders to the oceanfront deck containing the bubbly hot tub, plus two more master bedrooms, one with queen and one with pyramid bunk and regular bunk.
The second level of the home features the cavernous media lounge with enormous flat screen TV home theater system with TV, BluRay player and surround sound. Unwind in the four reclining theater seats or the comfortable couch and appreciate the convenient wet bar with mini-refrigerator. Nearby find the laundry room with washer/dryer and laundry sink for rinsing out salty swim suits. Also on this level are four more bedrooms. The first is a extravagant oceanfront king master suite with slider to the oceanfront deck, sizable flat screen TV, and private bath. The second king master bedroom is handicap friendly with roll-in shower with grab bars and fold-down shower seat. The third bedroom on this level has a king bed, desk and half bath located just outside the door. Finally, a pyramid bunk bedroom completes this level.
The top level of this home will beat any GREAT EXPECTATIONS with wall-to-wall windows framing blue ocean vistas, two sliders to the oceanfront deck and comfortable seating around a huge flat screen TV home theater system, BluRay player and surround sound system. The dining area provides plenty of seating for the entire group including a long oceanfront table for 10, seating at the breakfast bar for 7 and a round table to seat an additional 6. The kitchen is wide open with plenty of space and countertop for preparing even the biggest of meals. Dual fridges, dual ranges and dual microwaves assist in meal-prep while having an additional sink and additional dishwasher in the breakfast bar makes for simple clean-up by the group. Step out onto the soundside deck to prepare on the gas grille or just to take in the sunset. Don't worry, you can set your expectations high without disappointment for your vacation in GREAT EXPECTATIONS.

New for 2023: Additions to this home can only increase the wow factor waiting for you in Hatteras Village. Now a 9 bedroom (8 masters) with 8 full and 3 half baths! On the second level, you’ll find a brand-new, sixth, king master attached to its private, newly added, full bath. On the same level, a new private bedroom with a pyramid bunk awaits. With these additions, you can bring more appreciated ones with you to elegant Hatteras Island, soaking in the ocean vistas and sunshine together. In 2023, GREAT EXPECTATIONS will feature Saturday check-in.

*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.
