With the Mirlo Beach boardwalk access next to the home, you are steps away from the Atlantic ocean as well as the Pamlico Sound within walking distance and provides a stunningly serene backdrop, it’s clear that this home is a true treasure.

As soon as you pull up to this seven-bedroom/five- and two-half-bath beauty, you’ll feel yourself melt into the calming surroundings. Let the ocean waves lull you into a good nap next to the heated saltwater pool or as you appreciate a relaxing soak in the 6-person hot tub. A gas grille and a poolside bar you can stock with your favorite refreshments make it simple to quench both hunger and thirst without having to venture inside. • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
• Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
• Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if damages are assessed.
• Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
• Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
• Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review.
