For those who appreciate and live for the water, it would be staying at ISLAND TEMPEST, a three-bedroom/three full- and one-half-bath home located in the intimate and friendly Island Creek Resort. Here, beach lawns blend into the blue waters of the Pamlico Sound, providing the ideal playground for the active adventurer and indulgent idler alike. The roomy home has just what you need to settle in and appreciate the true purpose of a vacation: to relax, restore and reconnect. Cozy bedrooms reveal spectacular vistas of the very waters you’ll want to conquer, while the artwork stokes your adventurous soul. The first level provides two master bedrooms: one with two singles and another with a king and private access to the mid-level deck. The sunlit family room, with an additional queen couch bed, provides ample space to play, stretch out, or perhaps even practice your daily yoga routine.

The top level’s open layout, with king master suite, has vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling picture windows on three sides that offer uninterrupted vistas of the serene sound waters. Get comfortable on the great room couch, with additional queen couch bed, and watch your favorite movie or get creative for family meals in the well-supplied kitchen. Gather around the eight-seat dining table, with room for four more at the island bar, or venture to the deck to dine al fresco at the picnic table.
