Trip Includes

• Catch cleaning & filleting (Fish cleaning is included in the price of the trip. Tips are appreciated. Fish cleaning will be done at the dock once the charter is completed.)
• Drinks (Water is included, usually I have a few gatorades as well. I will have them in a clean cooler on ice. You're more than welcome to bring any beverages you would like. Please no glass bottles.)
• Fishing license (Fishing licenses are included in the price of the trip. They cover all guests for the duration of the trip.)

Rodanthe has a fish with your name on it, so let Max’s Boating Adventures help you catch it! Having grown up on the water behind Rodanthe, Captain Max is prepared to put you on fish.

These waters are known for Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! You can expect to do some light tackle fishing with both lures and cut bait. The boat is outfitted with smooth Daiwa reels and custom fishing rods made by the captain.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep their stamina going!

Your boat for the day is a 21' Mr B’s center console with capacity for 4 passengers. It is equipped with a quiet Yamaha 115 and jackplate to get into the shallow.  It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
