This is a great trip for experienced anglers and novices alike. Some days we are casting artificial lures with spinning tackle for Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Red Drum, and other fish species. On windy days we may be fishing with bait anchored up in the shallow waters where it’s calm catching Red Drum, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout. Large Stingrays are not uncommon to catch. They are good fighters and an excellent way to hone your fish catching skills. We normally release those fish back into the water. On Occasion if the ocean is really calm we might troll for Spanish Mackerel but that is a fishery that I don’t often participate in unless the party chooses to do so. IMPORTANT… Please remember to put your sunscreen on before you come to the dock from your house!!!. If you have to bring sunscreen to reapply DO NOT bring spray-on sunscreen! It is Not allowed on the boat. ???? Also I am a little superstitious about bananas, so please do not bring bananas on the boat. ???? I have a cooler on the boat for the fish we catch and there are fish cleaning services available at the dock right in front of the boat slip. I do recommend having a cooler waiting in your vehicle to bring your catch home. Please have ice or Cooling packages in your cooler so it’s not hot like an oven when you put your fish in it. If you bring a cooler along on the fishing trip please bring the smallest one you can fit your items in. There is a small amount of dry storage on the vessel for phones, pocketbooks, wallets, keys, extra clothes, Etc. All the fishing equipment is provided all you need to bring is what you want to eat and drink however if you have a favorite fishing rod you would like to bring feel free to do so. If you are a fly fisherman or a bow fisherman please let me know in advance and bring your own equipment for that also. Bow fishing is best in the afternoon when the sun is high. Thanks. Hopefully I am able to help you make your fishing experience a great one! Captain Rick Scarborough
