Welcome to Floyd's Retreat, a coastal charmer with partial ocean vistas and fast beach access! Recently refreshed, this alluring home comes completely outfitted for a memorable vacation. Sitting on a corner lot of land, the exterior of Floyd's getaway features broad decks, a gas grille, and pool access at close by Club Hatteras. When you aren't relishing incredible vistas from the decks, walk across the street to beach access, or take a walk around the dog and bicycle-friendly neighborhood. Numerous local eateries and stores are also within walking distance, ensuring your every craving is satisfied.

Inside Floyd's Retreat, you'll discover warm wood finishes, dog-friendly amenities, and modern appliances. The comfortable living room displays ample seating and a huge intelligent TV. Steps from here, the full kitchen is sure to delight any chef with its granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and center island. When it's time to eat, dining is made just as painless at the formal dining table. Decorated for comfort and style, the four bedrooms are adorned with soft linens, nautical decorations, TVs, and central air-conditioning. A private washer/dryer and internet access round out the stellar list of interior amenities.

As evening begins to fall and the stars fill the nighttime sky, head for the upper deck where the vistas you gaze upon will stay with you for a lifetime.

Guests have access to our pool at Club Hatteras; located at 41156 Hwy 12, Avon. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day - weather permitting and subject to close without notice.

About the Area

Located in Salvo, this vacation home is by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore.   • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
