There are five thoughtfully designed bedrooms for calming and restoration – three of which are master bedrooms – all connected to an ensuite bathroom. Two of the master bedrooms are connected to a Jack and Jill bathroom that has a opulent stand-up shower, where you can stand beneath cascading water coming from a ceiling waterfall shower. All three of the master bedrooms have ceiling fans, blinds/black-out curtains, and new 32 inch LG 4K Intelligent TVs mounted on the walls for your enjoyment. The bunk bedroom and twin bedroom are ideal for kids to create lasting memories in, and both are located next to a full bathroom for convenience. Each room has its own character and benefits to savor.

There are four decks off the home - one with a cushioned outdoor lounge area ideal for relaxing or reading a book, two facing the sand dune and ocean off the back of the home, where you can relax in one of the many Adirondack chairs, while listening to the waves or watching the kids play in the private pool. The last deck is screened in with a six-person dining area and foosball table. The 6-person hot tub ideally located on the top deck to watch sail boats pass by in the distance during the day or star-gaze at nighttime, while hearing the waves crash against the coast. We have also put a couple rafts, beach toys, body boards, beach chairs, pool noodles and crabbing nets in the beach toy bin under the home for your enjoyment. Turkish beach towels are also included in the linen closet for your use. The pool has the option of being heated to 88 degrees, to help make it even more delightful, the cost for having the pool heated is $70 per day. Follow the pathway off the back of the home to the boardwalk that leads up to a serene beach, which you and your family may have all to yourselves sometimes during the day or nighttime. Cape Hatteras National Seashore is known for its undeveloped pristine beaches which stretch for miles in either direction. There is plenty of space to sprawl out and enjoy a day at the beach. Keep an eye out for dolphins which occasionally visit. Rinse off in the outdoor shower under the home and enjoy a mid-day picnic at the enormous picnic table under the home.

In addition to the private pool and hot tub, the subdivision has tennis courts (available Memorial Day through Labor Day), and a lake with a wildlife viewing area where you can spot handsome birds, turtles, and even a couple of otters.

Don’t miss the famed Cape Hatteras Lighthouse which is just a short drive from the home. Upon booking the home, we will send you our complete Welcome Guide so that you’ll have a local guide to places to eat, visit, take lessons, and rent equipment. Tips and Tricks to get the optimal rental home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitors guides that include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose the perfect vacation rental in Rodanthe:

  • Select a group leader, select your vacation week, and select a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Elegant Updated Oceanfront Home w\/ Pool & Hot Tub. Dogs Welcome has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is usually available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
  • Visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking

Some things to know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many issues.
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. text the property manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
