Boasting a private in-ground pool, a completely fenced yard, and a covered patio area beneath the home, this coastal getaway comes primed for countless fun in the sun. When you're not appreciating the amenities of home, discover the island's pristine coastline with a day at the beach or a walk down to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, which are both less than a mile away. You'll also be within a mile of great local eateries, gift stores, and bait stores.

Totally surrounded by a privacy fence and lush, tropical foliage, the backyard pool area offers you a private heaven to appreciate with friends and family. An upper deck area makes an ideal spot to work on your tan, and if you need some relief from the heat, the breezy ground-floor patio has got you covered. If you went fishing while out and about, use the fish-cleaning station to prepare your catch for a hearty meal. The backyard firepit's top can be turned into a grille to sear the fish you just cleaned. In the evening, use it for starlight s'mores sessions together. An enclosed outdoor shower provides a private and convenient spot to rinse off after trips to the beach.

Coastal tones and oceanside decor fill the interior, helping to set the mood for beachside bliss. Vaulted ceilings and strong natural lighting in the open-concept living area create an inviting space for group gatherings. An updated couch and intelligent TV provide comfortable home calming and indoor entertainment. A full suite of stainless steel kitchen appliances, cookware, and plenty of silverware are equipped for home cooking. Additional perks include central air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

The private pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.
Guests have access to the pool at Club Hatteras; located at 41156 Hwy 12, Avon. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day - weather permitting and subject to close without notice.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. Book your vacation in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Hatteras area visitor guide magazines which will include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
