Mirlo Beach

Rodanthe is located on the northern end of Hatteras Island, the first village below Oregon Inlet and The Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge.

This end of the island is famous for celebrating Christmas twice - once on December 25th and again on Old Christmas, during the first week of January.
