HATTERAS ISLAND - OCRACOKE ISLAND: Summer schedule between Ocracoke and Hatteras: Leave both islands on the hour and half-hour all day, except before 7am and after 6.30pm (EDT). Winter schedule: on the hour all day until 6pm, then every two hours until midnight. Crossing time:40 minutes, vehicles loaded on a first-come, first-served basis. Call
